Alphabet expands into Finland

Alphabet has entered the Finnish market, adding local enterprise Secto Automotive to its global partnership network. The new partnership establishes Alphabet’s presence in a 33rd market, further expanding the company’s reach and making access to its innovative mobility solutions and expertise even easier for both local and international fleet customers.

With fourteen Alphabet owned locations and now nineteen partner locations, the mobility provider has established operations throughout most of Europe and far beyond. The continued expansion of Alphabet’s network means customers with subsidiaries and fleets operating in different countries benefit from consistently high levels of service alongside the convenience of seamless business interactions on a global scale.

Established in 2007, Secto Automotive is the biggest privately owned leasing company in Finland and the country’s third largest fleet provider. With in-depth knowledge of the Finnish mobility market and strong relationships with small and medium enterprises well-established, the company is now looking to grow its business amongst larger corporates and private lease customers. “The partnership with Alphabet supports our strategic direction, enabling us to leverage our expertise in fleet decarbonisation and offer customised solutions to a broader range of customers, not only in Finland, but beyond our borders too,” says Matias Henkola, Chief Executive Officer, Secto Automotive.

In addition to shared growth plans, Secto Automotive and Alphabet both believe in a holistic approach that covers the entire customer journey. “With Secto, we have gained a great partner to tune into the local needs and wants of fleets in Finland, as well as increasing the accessibility of our tailored mobility products and services in the region,” explains Susanne Loser, Chief Sales Officer, Alphabet International. “We’re certain both sides will benefit greatly from each other’s network and capabilities, allowing us to support new and existing customers with a long-lasting partnership”.
