Amending Your Contract

Amending your contract to help keep you moving

At Alphabet, we understand that your vehicle requirements can change. Should you need to extend the length of your term, increase or decrease your mileage we can review your contract and adjust the cost accordingly.

 

If your vehicle is taken out within a company car scheme, it’s important that you discuss any changes to your contract with your fleet manager before you request an amendment.

What we can offer

Are you thinking of changing your contracted mileage allowance or the length of your contract? No problem - we're here to help. But there are certain requirements you need to meet before we can do so. Read the below to find out more.

    Thinking of changing your contracted mileage allowance?

    • You must have had your vehicle for a minimum of 6 months before we can change your contracted mileage.
    • Alphabet can offer a minimum mileage allowance of 6,000 miles per annum, and a maximum contracted mileage of 150,000 miles in total.
    • Mileage Reduction – we require a minimum of 4 payments remaining on your agreement to - implement a mileage reduction.
    • Mileage Increase - we require a minimum of 1 payment remaining on your agreement to implement a mileage increase.

    When changing your mileage, we can only implement a change that is greater than 10% increase/decrease in comparison to your current contracted mileage. We cannot amend your contracted mileage to be less than the vehicles current odometer reading.

    Thinking of changing your contract length?

    • You must have had your vehicle for a minimum of 6 months before we can change the length of your agreement.
    • Term Reduction – a reduction in your contracted term is only available if there are more than 6 payments remaining after the agreement modification has been implemented.
    • Term Increase - Alphabet can offer a maximum 72-month total contract.

    Contract amendments take into account multiple variables, so it isn’t always possible to provide a quote. We will confirm back to you confirming if we are not able to fulfil your request.

    If you've accepted your amendment quote, remember to cancel any end-of-contract collection you may have booked by calling 0370 0120 301 and selecting Option 9.

Difficulty making payments?
