Amending & Changing Your Contract Agreement - Alphabet UK

At Alphabet, we understand that your vehicle requirements can change. Should you need to extend the length of your term, increase or decrease your mileage we can review your contract and adjust the cost accordingly.
If your vehicle is taken out within a company car scheme, it’s important that you discuss any changes to your contract with your fleet manager before you request an amendment.

Difficulty making payments?

<ul>
<li>You must have had your vehicle for a minimum of 6 months before we can change your contracted mileage.</li>
<li>Alphabet can offer a minimum mileage allowance of 6,000 miles per annum, and a maximum contracted mileage of 150,000 miles in total.</li>
<li>Mileage Reduction – we require a minimum of 4 payments remaining on your agreement to - implement a mileage reduction.</li>
<li>Mileage Increase - we require a minimum of 1 payment remaining on your agreement to implement a mileage increase.</li>
</ul>
When changing your mileage, we can only implement a change that is greater than 10% increase/decrease in comparison to your current contracted mileage. We cannot amend your contracted mileage to be less than the vehicles current odometer reading.

<ul>
<li>You must have had your vehicle for a minimum of 6 months before we can change the length of your agreement.</li>
<li>Term Reduction – a reduction in your contracted term is only available if there are more than 6 payments remaining after the agreement modification has been implemented.</li>
<li>Term Increase - Alphabet can offer a maximum 72-month total contract.</li>

Alphabet are only able to offer contract amendments to a Contract Hire or Contract Purchase agreement. If you are unsure on what agreement you have with us, please contact us.
