Back to business – it’s time to pick up speed

For all of us the first half year 2020 was a challenging – both in private and in professional life. However, we have already familiarised ourselves with the new circumstances and accepted the so-called “new normal”. Nevertheless, this special situation is not yet completely over and successes in reducing infection numbers and further easing measures are built on fragile pillars. Therefore, I hope that you and your loved ones are still healthy and safe.  

When we take a look back at the past months there is no question that the corona crisis hit us and the whole business hard and it will be a busy road until we get back to a normal level. The situation also challenged us to go a new way with faster steps: During lockdown, our service was an important constant for you and we have been able to guarantee availability of more than 95% within a very short time by working remote. Furthermore, it became apparent that the acute needs had to be recognised even faster and directly implemented in solutions in order to adequately support you. Especially with our advanced products AlphaRent and AlphaGuide, we have been able to meet the fast growing need for high flexibility and self-services in the shortest possible time. We also used the lockdown to further develop and re-work our app to provide even more benefits and freedom to the users. Be assured that we will keep investing and further developing digital solutions to make sure, you are ready for the “new normal”.

With our campaign #StartTheRestart we showed that we are ready for the next step, we are here for you and we will bring business mobility back on track by offering equally individual and pragmatic solutions.  As we will now enter the next stage and more and more adapt to this new situation, it is important that we keep this great work and this great collaboration up. Because the past few months have shown one thing above all: Together we can get through almost anything. With a positive mind set but still, very much aware of the situation we are prepared to move forward.
