Alphabet (GB) today announces Ifran Zaman, Customer Service Executive within the First Contact Team at Alphabet, has been awarded the Rising Star Award at this year’s FN50 Customer Service Awards, recognising his hard work and outstanding contribution to customer service and support. Alphabet’s Frances Cowan, Carly Halpin, and Jennifer Froggatt, were also highly commended in the Individual and Rising Star categories at the awards, demonstrating Alphabet’s commitment to customer service excellence.

Ifran has excelled as a Customer Service Executive during his time at Alphabet, building a broad depth of knowledge across the entire business and going above and beyond for Alphabet’s customers daily, including identifying and solving data capture challenges for some of Alphabet’s largest corporate clients. He has been instrumental in creating an updated training plan for new starters, as well as implementing this across the business, and achieved this all while maintaining his own exceptional levels of customer service, with near perfect scores in Alphabet’s quality assessment.

Alongside his role, Ifran has also played a central part in the BMW Group UK and Ire-land’s work on Diversity. He was pivotal to promoting and publicising BMW’s Black History Month initiatives and has helped ensure the diverse culture and ethnicity within the Group is celebrated throughout the year.

“Ifran’s significant contribution to not only the First Contact team, but the wider Alpha-bet business, has helped ensure we continuously provide excellent service to our customers,” said Gemma Fisher, Customer Service Manager, Alphabet (GB). “His hard work behind the scenes on Diversity is building a workplace culture of inclusion that reflects the diversity of our surrounding communities and encourages an environment where people can contribute and make genuinely impactful changes.

“He truly is a special person, who inspires everyone he interacts with and is a fantastic example to his team and peers, as well as the wider business.”

Along with Ifran, three of his colleagues were also highly commended at this year’s FN50 Customer Service Awards for their work. Frances Cowan, Corporate Service Manager, and Carly Halpin, Customer Fleet Executive, have both been recognised in the Individual Award category, whilst Jennifer Froggatt, Corporate Service Manager was highly commended in the Rising Star category, highlighting the exceptional work the team has been doing to maintain excellent customer service during the past year.

The FN50 Customer Service Awards are presented each year at the FN50 Dinner and recognise outstanding contributions from employees of the UK’s top leasing companies who have gone above and beyond in their approach to customer service and support.
