Mobility and fleet leasing experts Alphabet (GB) Limited today announced it has been crowned the ‘Best Car Scheme Provider’ in the 2019 Workplace Savings & Benefits Awards.

Agata Stachaszewska, Head of Marketing & Business Development, collected the award on behalf of Alphabet and commented: “We’re thrilled to have won this award. At a time when today’s fleet decision-makers are operating in a changing and uncertain world, this award reflects the lengths the Alphabet team go to ensure our customers are supported. Nearly three quarters of employees in the UK commute by car, and Alphabet sees itself as an integral part of the drive to keep businesses mobile, ensuring employees get where they need to be safely.

“Alphabet has had a busy couple of years as the team has worked hard to bring a number of innovations to market to benefit our customers while improving our existing services. One of our most significant achievements was the launch of ALPHACITY MULTI-MAKE, bringing our market-leading car sharing platform to non-BMW Group vehicles for the first time. 167 new makes and models were made available, and in a key move away from the model of 'one person = one vehicle' our keyless sharing technology better enables between 20-30 employees to share a vehicle.

“Other innovations include the roll-out of Alphabet VIEW and IFRS-16 tools, providing fleet customers with transparency, visibility and a suite of reporting tools. We also transitioned some of our bigger customers to a fully outsourced fleet solution, reflecting a wider industry shift from operational fleet management into more strategic, mobility management.

Stachaszewska concludes: “This award is not only to recognise the work of the Alphabet team, but it’s also the chance to say a big thank you to our customers. The feedback from our customers really drives the innovations we bring to market which is why we continuously evaluate our NPS and undertake regular customer feedback research, as well as regularly organising forums and roundtables to discuss the key issues of the day. The company car scheme is a more highly regulated and complex space than ever before, and we at Alphabet are looking forward to continuing to work together with our customers to help them navigate it.”

The judges from the 2019 Workplace Savings & Benefits Awards further commented: “Alphabet is constantly innovating to improve its offering to customers and demonstrates a great commitment to providing environmentally friendly solutions. It is this focus on excellent service that means the company have such an excellent customer retention rate, and what makes them the deserving winners of ‘Best Car Scheme Provider’ 2019.”
