Alphabet picks up coveted Fleet News Award 2018 for ‘Leasing Company of the Year’
Business mobility and fleet leasing specialist, Alphabet, today announced it has been awarded the ‘Leasing Company of the Year’ award for fleet sizes of more than 20,000 vehicles. The win reflects changes by the company to its rental and car sharing services as well as improvements to the way it manages its customer relationships. Nick Brownrigg, CEO of Alphabet (GB) was there to pick up the award at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London.
In 2017, Alphabet integrated its rental and car sharing services into its core corporate offering with a new team of field-based mobility consultants and a new service management team resulting in improved customer service. The company is also taking a leading role in the uptake of electric and low emission vehicles which has been a key driver in customer growth. It currently delivers 9 per cent of the UK total private and business grant-eligible ultra-low emission vehicles.
Nick Brownrigg, CEO of Alphabet (GB) comments, “We are delighted to receive this award, having celebrated a year of continued growth and progression. We’re seeing customers responding positively to the changes that we’ve made to our services, and we’re continuing to invest heavily in our customer excellence strategy. I would like to take this opportunity to recognise the hard work, dedication and passion of everyone – employees, customers and suppliers – who have contributed to the Alphabet success story over the past 20 years”.
The Fleet News Awards judges commented, “Alphabet has been “brutally honest” about the areas it needed to improve and taken action, resulting in high praise from customers, the judges said. It continues to push the uptake of ultra-low emission vehicles and take the lead on mobility services. An initiative to generate employee-led ideas also impressed.”
In addition to improvements in its customer experience and service offerings, Alphabet has been first to market with its online tyre replacement booking service. Customers also benefit from its enriched AlphaGuide App, making it easier for drivers to book services in all channels. Our progressive approach looks further than traditional fleet management and funding, to helping provide business mobility solutions to meet the increasingly complex requirements of our customers today and tomorrow.
