Case Study: Alphabet signs new partnership deal with J Murphy & Sons

The objective:

Murphy Plant needed a fleet solution to support its new 'greener Murphy' climate action strategy, including having low carbon vehicles across its whole business. With many of its vehicles coming up for renewal, Murphy wanted to support its employees with choosing EVs and PHEVs to help them play their part in reducing their impact on the environment.

What we did:

Alphabet provided Murphy Plant with full fleet funding, as well as management services, including damage reporting, roadside assistance, tyre replacements and mileage tracking.

Alphabet's partnership with charging provider, Shell Recharge Solutions, also helped support driver's move to electric for Murphy employees, by providing free home chargers and installation to the first group of employees to place an electric vehicle order.

The results:

Alphabet has provided employees at Murphy Plant with a wider range of vehicles, including both electric (EV) and plug in hybrid vehicles (PHEVs), so they can select the vehicle best suited to their lifestyle. Murphy was also able to make steps towards delivering its sustainable commitments as a business.
