16 December 2025, Farnborough, UK: Alphabet Business Analyst Apprentice, Euan Stewart, has won the Personal Development Award at the 2025 Kaplan Apprenticeship Awards at the Lowry Theatre in Manchester on 15 December 2025.
Stewart, who is currently studying for a Business Analyst Level 4 Qualification and a BSC (British Computer Society) Business Analysis International Diploma through Kaplan, received the international education provider’s Personal Development Award for his dedication and making a considerable impact within his contract product solutions team role at Alphabet - a division of BMW Group.
Now in its third year, the 2025 Kaplan Apprenticeship Awards shine a spotlight on the remarkable talent emerging from Kaplan’s wide range of apprenticeship programmes in accountancy, tax, finance, investment, data, technology, and analytics.
Since joining BMW Group UK in August 2024, Stewart has become a standout performer and has already delivered several impressive tasks, which would normally be akin to a more experienced business analyst. This includes automating credit referrals, job scheduling, upgrading system security, and ensuring proper access governance – to name a few.
He has used his academic prowess to good effect, playing a pivotal role in large business critical demands, such as downtime management and internal car schemes ahead of the UK Government’s impending Corporate Contrived Car Scheme legislation in 2026.
Upon receiving the accolade, Stewart said: “I’m thrilled to win this year’s Kaplan Personal Development Award.
“Working as a business analyst with Alphabet has enabled me to really hone my knowledge and develop theories into tangible outputs.
“To be recognised by my peers, and entrusted with the responsibilities I have, certainly inspires me to deliver even greater value for the business,” added Stewart.
Viv D’Souza, Head of Contract Product Solutions for Alphabet (GB) and BMW Financial Services (GB), said: “The diverse nature of Euan’s role means that he has had to acquaint himself with both the technical and operational aspects of the role within an incredibly short space of time.
“Throughout his apprenticeship with us, it’s clear that Euan strives for perfection. He demonstrates a level of maturity beyond his years by challenging the norms to optimise operational efficiencies.
“He has already affirmed his immense value in the business, which has seen him receive numerous company shout-outs over the past 15 months, including being nominated for a BMW Group UK quarterly award earlier this year. The future is bright,” added D’Souza.
