Munich, 12 December 2018. Norbert van den Eijnden, CEO at Alphabet International becomes one of the members of the Board of Directors at Leaseurope.
Norbert van den Eijnden, Head of Alphabet International since 2009, is now a member of the Board of Directors at Leaseurope, the European Federation of Leasing Company Associations. Leaseurope brings together 45 associations throughout Europe representing either the leasing, long-term and/or short-term automotive rental industries.
Leaseurope, the trade body representing the leasing and automotive rental industries in Europe has appointed its new Board of Directors for a two-year term running until October 2020. “The last couple of years have been busy for the Federation and have allowed Leaseurope to provide many value-added services for our members, while continuing to be a strong voice for our industry on key issues,” said chairman Morten Guldhaug at the first meeting of the new board, which will be appointed for the next two years. He added that: “It is my ambition to continue promoting our industry and highlight its contribution to the real economy thanks to high quality data, research and state-of-the art publications.”
Norbert van den Eijnden and the other eleven senior practitioners on the board will participate in representing the interest of the European leasing market with their wide-ranging expertise. The scope of products covered by Leaseurope's members ranges from hire purchase and finance leases to operating leases of all asset types (automotive, equipment and real estate) and also includes the rental of cars, vans and trucks. “I’m looking forward to contribute to Leaseurope’s mission of giving the European industry a united voice and to catalyse research in the field of leasing and automotive rental,” van den Eijnden stated.
