Mobility Budget

A transparent solution for all types of mobility needs

Overview

Flexible mobility options

One transparant budget

Since March 1st 2019, companies can offer employees who are entitled to a company car a mobility budget. The government is hoping to reach several objectives with this mobility budget. On the one hand, they want to limit road congestions by offering commuters other options than their cars, and on the other hand, it should promote alternative and more eco-friendly forms of mobility. Without driving up the cost for companies or employees.

As an employer, you can decide to introduce the mobility budget in your business. Employees can then exchange their company cars for a wide range of mobility solutions.

The mobility platform of our partner, Olympus Mobility, combines sustainable mobility services and digitally guides the user through the entire process. Mapping out a route, purchasing tickets and consulting the remaining mobility budget can all be done in one handy app.

What services can be accessed through the Mobility app?

These services are extremely user-friendly and can be ordered directly in the Olympus app:

  • Bike and car sharing (Cambio, Velo, Blue-bike, Mobit and Swapfiets)
  • Public transport (NMBS, De Lijn, MIVB, TEC)
  • Parking (4411 and NMBS parkings)

In addition, the app also provides a route planner, mileage registration and requesting a mileage allowance.

Olympus also provides a self-service solution for other mobility services (e.g. Waterbus, Villo, Billy Bike,...) that are not integrated in the app. The user orders the ticket with his own resources and his payment is immediately and automatically refunded to his personal account.

Reimbursements can also be requested via the app for other expenses that fit within the mobility budget (e.g. housing).
