Maciej Galant - new CEO of Alphabet Polska

  • Effective July 1, 2026, Maciej Galant will assume the duties of CEO of two companies within the Polish structures of the BMW Group – BMW Financial Services and Alphabet Polska.
  • He will replace Spiros Filippas, who will assume the position of Head of the Central and Eastern Europe region.

Effective July 1, 2026, Maciej Galant will assume the position of CEO of BMW Financial Services Polska and Alphabet Polska – BMW Group companies specializing in car financing for business and individual customers.

Maciej Galant has been with the BMW Group since 2006. He returns to Poland after nearly a decade of managerial experience gained in other European markets. Since 2022, he has headed BMW Group operations in the Czech Republic, previously responsible for the Hungarian market, and since 2016 for the Slovenian market. Before embarking on his international career, he served as Head of BMW Sales in Poland for almost 10 years.

Under his leadership, the BMW brand in the Czech Republic rose to the position of leader in the premium segment and achieved a record share of its own financial services in 2025.

"Returning to the Polish market is a significant professional milestone for me. It was here that I gained experience at the BMW Group and built relationships with the dealer network. Today, I return with a broader, international perspective and the ambition to further develop BMW Financial Services and Alphabet Polska. We want to consistently strengthen our role as a partner of choice – close to customers, supporting business partners, and responding to changing market needs and the development of modern mobility," says Maciej Galant.

As the CEO of BMW Financial Services Polska and Alphabet Polska, Maciej Galant will succeed Spiros Filippas, who will assume the position of Head of the Central and Eastern Europe region in July of this year.
