Spiros Filippas

CEO | President of the Management Board

Alphabet Polska and BMW Financial Services Polska

 

Spiros Filippas is a CEO with over 20 years of experience in the automotive and finance industry and have previously held different CEO positions for BMW Group - initially as CEO of BMW Financial Services and as President and CEO of BMW Group in Greece. For the past 10 years he served as Regional CEO for BMW Financial Services – first in the Middle East and then in Mexico and Latin America.

Andreas Koser, CFO of Alphabet Polska since 2022; simultaneously holding the CFO position at BMW Financial Services Polska since October 2021.

 

Andreas started his professional career at BMW Group in 1997, when, as a Master of Business Administration, he joined the team as a Manager of Group Reporting in Munich. Then he worked as the Chief Accountant at the BMW engine plant in Birmingham / United Kingdom, as a Senior Manager in Corporate Strategy in Munich, and as the Head of Supplier Risk Management in procurement in Munich. In 2016 Andreas took the position of CFO of BMW Financial Services South Africa in Johannesburg, and in October 2021, the position of CFO of BMW Financial Services Polska.

Mariusz Steć, Chief Operations Officer (COO) of Alphabet Polska, has been Chief Operations Officer at BMW Financial Services Polska for over 11 years and has held the same position at Alphabet Polska since July 2023.

Chief Commercial Officer (CCO)

Alphabet Polska 

 

Piotr Wróbel has joined the Alphabet Polska team in June 2023, taking the position of Chief Commercial Officer (CCO). He has been associated with the Car Fleet Management (CFM) industry from the very beginning of his professional career and for the last 8 years he was responsible for sales at LeasePlan Polska as Head of Sales and then Commercial Director.

Adrian Kożuchowski

Chief Risk Officer (CRO)

Adrian Kożuchowski was promoted to the position of Chief Risk Officer (CRO) of Alphabet Polska and BMW Financial Services Polska in 2023 r. Adrian has been associated with the BMW Group for over 13 years and gained professional experience, among others, as a Controlling Manager at BMW Financial Services Polska. For the previous 2 years he has been the Project Lead responsible for the strategic development of the company and strengthening cooperation with Alphabet Polska.

Agata Stachaszewska

Chief Marketing and Innovation Officer (CMIO)

Agata Stachaszewska returned to the Polish structures of the BMW Group for the newly created position of Chief Marketing and Innovation Officer (CMIO) in June 2023. Agata was involved in the creation of Polish Alphabet structures in 2011, and for the next 8 years she has been developing her career at Alphabet International and Alphabet UK in strategic positions related to business development and marketing. She spent the previous year at BMW Financial Services in Munich, working on a project implementing a new agency sales model in the BMW Group - BMW Future Sales Model Project.

Aleksandra Chrzanowska has been associated with the BMW Group since 2015, responsible for the compliance area at BMW Financial Services Polska. Since October 2023, she has also held the same position at Alphabet Polska, where she also serves as Data Protection Inspector.

History

Take a look at our historic milestones

  • 2025: Alphabet Carbon Manager enables customers to monitor and reduce CO₂ emissions in their fleets. Effective May 1, 2025, Spiros Filippas assumes the position of CEO and Chairman of the Management Board of Alphabet Polska and BMW Financial Services Polska, replacing George Belsis. 
  • 2024: Alphabet introduces AI Assistant to its digital fleet management tools. Operations expand to Slovenia and the Baltic States. Alphabet Polska and BMW Financial Services Polska join forces to offer a joint product to customers. Comfort Lease PLUS and Leasing PLUS are services designed to leverage the strengths of both companies. In practice, this means minimal paperwork associated with leasing a new car, combined with all aspects of its maintenance, all within a single fixed monthly payment. In March, Piotr Wróbel, Chief Commercial Officer of Alphabet Polska, joins the Polish Vehicle Rental and Leasing Association (PZWLP) as a Management Board Member for a two-year term. 
  • 2023: New partner in Australia and entry into the Mexican market – presence in 36 countries. In July 2023, a new, mostly joint management team was appointed for Alphabet Polska and BMW Financial Services Polska. These changes allow for even better synergy utilization and expansion of both companies' operational capabilities. George Belsis, CEO, and Andreas Koser, CFO, were joined by: Mariusz Steć, Chief Operations Officer (COO), Adrian Kożuchowski, Chief Risk Officer (CRO), Agata Stachaszewska, Chief Marketing and Innovation Officer (CMIO), and Piotr Wróbel, Chief Commercial Officer (CCO). 
  • 2022: New partners in Canada and Finland, with service availability in two additional key markets. As of August 1, 2022, the management board of Alphabet Polska is changing. George Belsis and Andreas Koser, who also hold similar positions at BMW Financial Services Polska, will assume the roles of CEO and CFO. 
  • 2021: New brand identity, new logo, and design: greater emphasis on sustainability, digitalization, and customer-centric mobility.

  • 2020: New partnerships in New Zealand and Australia – Alphabet present in 31 countries. Alphabet Polska Fleet Management, together with BMW Financial Services, is joining the fight against the coronavirus as part of the joint BMW Group Polska campaign "The Joy of Helping." The next stage is the #StarttheRestart campaign, in which Alphabet supported the "Holiday in Poland" project by lending 20 BMW and MINI cars. 
  • 2019: Leszek Pomorski is honored with the Fleet Leader award for his 22 years in the car leasing and long-term rental industry and for pioneering modern business solutions. At the end of July, Leszek Pomorski is retiring, and Helmut Hoidn becomes the new CEO of Alphabet Polska, effective August 1st. 
  • 2019: Alphabet Polska supports the Zero Emission Mission research project, implemented by the Polish Alternative Fuels Association, and is involved in a series of "Electromobility in Practice" training sessions for local governments across Poland. In April, Alphabet delivered 250 electric BMW i3s to innogy go!, the largest fully electric car sharing company in Poland and one of the largest in Europe. 
  • 2018: Development of the partner network in Europe (Greece, Croatia, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Turkey, Russia, Serbia, Ireland, and Portugal). The AlphaGuide app is made available to users in a completely new visual design. A few months later, it once again wins recognition in the Polish fleet industry, winning the Mobility Solutions category at the Fleet Awards Polska poll. In the Fleet Derby poll, we are honored with a statuette for our AlphaElectric service in the Ecology category. At the end of the year, Alphabet Polska was honored for its commitment to the development of electromobility in Poland at the 2018 Electromobility Leader gala, which accompanied the COP24 climate summit in Katowice. 
  • 2017: 20 years of innovation, entry into the Chinese market with a dedicated offering – Herald International Financial Leasing Co. Ltd. serves the market. For the second consecutive year, Alphabet Polska receives the Fleet Awards for Best Car Fleet Management Service, and we win the Mobile App category in the Fleet Derby poll. This means that AlphaGuide has become the most appreciated CFM application in the Polish fleet market. 
  • 2016: The Alphabet Polska team celebrates 15 years of operations in the Polish CFM market! Alphabet won the Fleet Derby award for Best Car Fleet Management Service for the fourth consecutive year. The company also wins the Fleet Awards Polska in the same category and receives a statuette for the new version of the AlphaGuide application. In the annual customer satisfaction survey, Alphabet Polska boasts the highest average scores among all markets where Alphabet operates in each of the surveyed areas, including overall satisfaction, customer loyalty, willingness to continue working with us, and willingness to recommend our company.

  • 2015: Alphabet Polska won the Eco Solutions category of the Fleet Awards Polska for the second consecutive year, winning the award for its Fleet Electrification Potential Study. In the Fleet Derby poll, it won the award for the best Car Fleet Management service for the third consecutive year. The company's CEO, Leszek Pomorski, also received the Fleet Personality of the Year 2015 distinction. 
  • 2014: Alphabet Polska won three categories in the Fleet Awards poll, winning awards for its two new services – AlphaElectric and AlphaGuide – and as the Most Fleet Manager-Friendly Company. Additionally, Alphabet was honored in the Fleet Derby poll, winning the award for the best Car Fleet Management service. 
  • 2013: Alphabet's fleet in Europe reached 500,000 vehicles. The half-millionth vehicle was ordered by a long-time Alphabet Polska client, Deloitte. At the end of the year, Alphabet Polska introduced its revolutionary electric vehicle service offering, AlphaElectric – the first comprehensive service of its kind on the Polish market dedicated to car fleets. 
  • 2012: New look for the Alphabet brand. In Poland, the company relocated from its previous office at Trzech Krzyży Square, which it shared with other ING companies. The new headquarters is located in Warsaw's Mokotów district. 
  • 2011: At the end of 2011, all Alphabet companies merged with ING Car Lease, strengthening the company's position in the European market. Following the merger, the fleet of cars under management now totals 460,000 vehicles.

  • 2008: The world's first mobile application, AlphaGuide, launches.

    In Poland, Leszek Pomorski is appointed President of the Polish Vehicle Rental and Leasing Association, and in 2010, CEO of Alphabet Polska. 
  • 2007: Alphabet has over 250,000 vehicles and 680 employees worldwide. 
  • 2005: We are one of the founders of the Polish Vehicle Rental and Leasing Association. 
  • 2001: ING Car Lease Polska Sp. z o.o. begins operations in the Polish market. 
  • 1997: Alphabet is founded in the UK as a BMW Group company – with the goal of simplifying mobility for businesses in Europe.
