BCA has responded to significant demand from buyers in the South West and Wales by launching a new commercial vehicle sale at the Bridgwater remarketing centre in Somerset.
The new LCV sale programme launched in February with sales taking place on alternate Wednesdays featuring commercial vehicles from Lex and UKCGR.
Jon Gilbert, Business Development Director, Commercial Vehicles at BCA said: “The team in Bridgwater has done sterling work to successfully deliver this all-new sales programme. Sale entry has doubled to around 150 units in a matter of weeks, underlining the demand from both vendors and buyers and the new sales programme is recording high levels of conversion and price performance.”
“The new programme is attracting plenty of support from buyer customers located in the South West and Wales with strong engagement both in-lane and online. It suits those buyers who don’t find it easy to locate stock but prefer to source stock locally.”
He added “We will be expanding this new LCV sales platform into a weekly format at Bridgwater and there are a number of additional vendors eager to participate.”
The successful launch of this new sales programme builds on the ongoing expansion of the commercial vehicle auction programme at BCA. BCA has capacity to offer over 2,000 vans a week, with at least one sale every day within the UK remarketing network.
As the UK market leader for LCV sales, BCA continues to develop and enhance its light commercial vehicle sales programme and recently staged the first ever dedicated Euro 6 LCV sales event. Staged at the Blackbushe remarketing centre, this pioneering sale created significant interest across the industry.
