Alphabet is pleased to announce a leadership transition which will see Ursula Wingfield become Chief Executive Officer for Alphabet and BMW Group Financial Services in the UK and Ireland from 1 August 2026.
Wingfield will succeed Mike Dennett, who will take up responsibility as Head of Region Europe, BMW Group Financial Services from 1 August 2026. Dennett has led Alphabet’s UK business since January 2022 and has served as CEO of BMW Group Financial Services in the UK and Ireland for more than eleven years.
Moving from her position as Chief Financial Officer of Alphabet and BMW Group Financial Services in UK and Ireland, Ursula brings extensive leadership experience from across the BMW Group, including previous roles as CEO of Alphabet Germany and CEO of BMW Financial Services South Africa.
May Wong will join as Chief Financial Officer of Alphabet and BMW Group Financial Services in the UK and Ireland, also from 1 August 2026. She joins from BMW Group Financial Services Australia, where she is currently CEO, and has held senior roles in South Korea, Australia and New Zealand.
The UK appointments are subject to approval by the Financial Conduct Authority.
