We’ll get you back on the road again as quickly as possible. In the event of an accident, you can reach the Alphabet team 24 hours a day. Our claims management staff will arrange all of the services required – we will provide optimal support on the spot, organising the breakdown service, a courtesy car, repairs and the insurance-related aspect of the accident, whether in Switzerland or abroad.

How to report a claim

With Alphabet, you can report an accident or a breakdown directly and conveniently via telephone or app, 24 hours a day. Do not hesitate to contact us – we will coordinate any necessary repairs and process any insurance claims on your behalf.

 

Via the Alphabet app

With the Alphabet app, reporting any claims is straightforward, quick and easy. Simply contact the claims centre directly – you can even send us pictures of any damage.

By phone

To make a claim by phone, just call +41 800 818 418.

Download, print out and fill in the form, then scan it and send it to the Alphabet claims centre.

What do I do in the event of a claim?

Put your safety vest on and secure the accident site.

Call the police if people are injured or the situation is unclear or if you are not certain who is to blame. Write down the name and district of the police officer that arrived on the scene.

 

Never sign an admission of guilt or a document waiving claims for damages from third parties.

Document the accident damage at the scene with a sketch or photographs and take all the details of the other party involved in the accident.

 

 

Report the claim immediately using the Alphabet app. With the “Claims report” function, you can enter all of your details as well as comprehensive information about the other party involved in the accident and any third parties, such as witnesses or other injured parties. It is also possible to send photographs and other details regarding the circumstances of the accident and the location directly to the Alphabet claims centre. Alternatively, you can report any claims by calling the 24-hour hotline on +41 800 818 418.

 

 

Frequently asked questions

If you have taken out/arranged fleet insurance and/or claims management through Alphabet, you can report any leasing vehicle loss or damage to Alphabet Assistance directly via the Alphabet app (free from the iOS or Android app store), by submitting the completed loss/damage claim form or by calling +41 800 818 418.

In the event of a total write-off, we will be happy to help you obtain a replacement vehicle so that you can stay mobile. Depending on the claim, either the replacement vehicle will be provided by the fleet insurer, or the costs for the replacement vehicle will be billed to the company

Alternatively, you can report the loss or damage directly via the Alphabet app (free from iOS or Android app store).

Parking damage insurance covers any losses or damage to the parked, vacant vehicle caused by third parties. Claims may be subject to an excess, depending on the benefit category selected.

Fully comprehensive insurance covers any losses or damage to your own vehicle caused due to an accident or vandalism. Claims may be subject to an excess, depending on the benefit category selected.

Third party, fire and theft insurance covers any losses or damage to your own vehicle caused by theft, fire, glass breakage, landslides or collisions with animals. Claims may be subject to an excess, depending on the benefit category selected.

It is not possible to combine multiple claims. The agreed excess needs to be calculated and deducted for each individual claim.
