Lease a bike with an operational lease
Would you like to offer your employees a wide range of mobility solutions? Let them choose a lease bike that they can (optionally) combine with their lease car. By cycling, they avoid traffic congestion and parking costs. And it is also great for their health!
Bike leasing can be offered through a cafeteria plan or the mobility budget. For your employee, this is offered from their gross salary. As a company, you rent the bike with an included service package. You can write off the monthly leasing costs as a business expense. We, as the leasing company, remain the owner of the bike.
Which bikes are available for lease?
They must be mandatorily equipped with the legally required equipment for use on public roads.

Good to know
Periodic maintenance of your bicycle must be carried out once a year or more often if the manufacturer’s instructions specify otherwise. Schedule a service appointment at a Cycle Valley bicycle shop.
Employees must report any technical defects to a Cycle Valley bicycle shop as quickly as possible. This will then lead to an appointment being made. All repairs must be carried out within 15 calendar days at the latest.
Any accident, theft or other damage must be reported to Alphabet within 24 hours by means of e-mail or the Alphabet App driver’s app. If there are any questions, employees can also call the Driver Centre on working days between 8:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. on 03/459 54 30.
The damage must be repaired at a Cycle Valley bicycle shop.
In the event of a breakdown or accident rendering the bicycle inoperative, you can call the emergency telephone number 07/815 05 35, which is staffed on a 24/7 basis. If the bicycle cannot be repaired on the spot, it will be taken to the nearest repair shop in the Cycle Valley network. You will be provided with transportation to your home or workplace.
Replacement parts for on-site repairs will be charged by the roadside assistance service at the time of repair (by debit card). If the bike is taken away, you can pay for these parts in the bicycle shop using your Alphabet’s maintenance budget.
In the event of immobilisation abroad (in countries listed on the green card) due to breakdown or an accident, our partner will transport you to your holiday residence. The cost of the repair and any replacement parts must be paid at the time of repair.
Disclaimer
Cargo bikes and longtails are insured in our leasing solution for the transport of goods. If these models are rented for the purpose of transporting persons (e.g. children), the rider must take out insurance on a personal basis or consult their insurance company.
