– The Alphabet App brings key mobility services together in one platform, making everyday mobility simpler for drivers.
– Drivers can manage everyday tasks such as service bookings, damage reporting and vehicle information directly from their smartphone.
– By enabling more driver self-service, the app reduces administrative effort and helps fleet managers focus on higher-value tasks.
MUNICH, 27/10/2026 – Alphabet has launched its completely redesigned Alphabet App, making it easier than ever for company car drivers to manage their day-to-day mobility needs. Bringing together key services in one intuitive platform, the app enables drivers to book services, report damage, access vehicle information and stay connected with their leasing provider directly from their smartphone. For fleet managers, the benefits are equally clear. By giving drivers greater self-service capabilities and simplifying routine processes, the Alphabet App helps reduce administrative effort, improve transparency and create a smoother fleet experience for everyone involved.
For fleet managers, the timing matters. In the Dataforce Fuhrparkmanagement Study 2026, a survey of more than 300 fleet managers in Germany, more than 80% said their work had become more demanding in recent years, with damage management identified as one of the most time-consuming tasks. As the new driver app is included within existing Alphabet leasing contracts and requires no additional fleet-side implementation, organisations can immediately benefit from a more streamlined way of managing driver interactions.
All your drivers’ needs in one place
The redesigned Alphabet App brings essential driver services together in one place. Drivers can book a workshop appointment, find an authorised service partner, report damage without paperwork directly at the scene, follow the delivery of a new vehicle and submit mileage readings. Contract details and the digital service and insurance cards sit in the same place. Depending on the market, drivers can also start and pay for charging and fuelling in the app.
From fewer requests to better data
For fleet managers, the gain is in what no longer reaches them. Every appointment a driver books and every damage report filed at the scene is one less request for the fleet team. Reports that arrive complete can speed up claims and keep vehicles on the road. In a job that keeps getting more demanding, that is time for the decisions that shape the fleet rather than the requests that interrupt the day.
The app is not a standalone tool. Part of what drivers enter already flows into Fleet Reporting, where fleet data comes together and where the Alphabet AI Assistant answers questions in plain language. Fleet Reporting sits in the Alphabet 360 Fleet Portal, the single login for Alphabet’s digital services, and Alphabet Connected Fleet adds near real-time vehicle data as it rolls out further across markets. So pointing drivers to the new app pays off twice: less admin now, better data over time.
“The conversation in fleet management is no longer about digitalisation itself, but about what it adds up to,” says Jesper Lyndberg, CEO of Alphabet International. “Fleets need connected solutions rather than disconnected tools, and they need insights rather than more data. For drivers, the redesigned app is where that starts. For fleet managers, the value shows up in the systems around it. With an ecosystem that spans driver services, fleet applications and AI-powered intelligence, we are building something that helps organisations manage growing complexity while creating a more efficient, transparent and future-ready mobility operation.”
Drivers download the redesigned app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and activate it. The previous version is being phased out. It is included in existing leasing contracts, so there is nothing to set up on the fleet side.
