What to do in case of windscreen damage?

Damage to your lease car's windscreen is covered. In all cases, repairs or replacements must be carried out by an Alphabet-approved repairer, such as Autoglass Clinic, whether in Belgium or abroad.

How to report damage?

Bear in mind the following to ensure a swift follow-up of the damage sustained: 

 

  • Send us a fully completed and signed claim form (on both sides) within 24 hours.. To ensure swift processing, you can fill in your form here.
  • Specify your car’s number plate in all correspondence.
  • Once we have received your claim form, the repairer you selected will contact you to arrange the repair of the damage as soon as possible.
  • If the damage involves a third party, please provide us with your original European accident report form as soon as possible.

 

Once we have received your completed form and your car is with the repairer, we will ensure that you receive a replacement vehicle in accordance with the terms of your contract.

What to do in case of theft?

In the event of theft or attempted theft:

 

  • File a report with the relevant authorities within 24 hours and notify us immediately.
  • Submit all original keys and remote controls of your car to us.
  • If the theft occurred abroad, report it to the local authorities; upon your return to Belgium, report it again to the relevant authorities.

 

In the event of loss or theft of the registration certificate or certificate of conformity:

 

  • Report this to the relevant authorities immediately.
  • Send us the original documents as soon as possible so that we can request replacements.
  • Keep a copy of the report in the vehicle until the matter is resolved.

 

In the event that your leased vehicle is stolen, you will receive a replacement vehicle for a period of one month.
