Alphabet has just officially handed over its 500,000th car at a press event in Munich. The car, a brand new BMW 320d Touring, was presented to the Polish subsidiary of Deloitte Group, a loyal Alphabet customer since 2003. Alphabet looks after the mobility needs of approximately 700 Deloitte Group employees in seven countries, with Alphabet Poland managing 100 company cars for Deloitte Poland.
The achievement of the half-million milestone demonstrates Alphabet’s dynamic growth and the successful advancement of its goal: to be the leading provider of Business Mobility. Attending the event, Ed Frederiks, CEO of Alphabet International, stated that: “Alphabet is expanding its market position progressively and internationally. The handover of the 500,000th car to a Polish customer underlines this.” Alphabet’s strong performance enables the ongoing development of cutting-edge Business Mobility services. Norbert van den Eijnden, joint CEO of Alphabet International, explained: “Through growth, we are creating innovative solutions, such as our Corporate CarSharing scheme AlphaCity, and paving the way for the smooth integration of electric cars into company fleets.”
