ISO 14001 certified

In early November 2010, Alphabet received the ISO 14001 certificate. This international standard specifies the requirements of a good Environmental Management System (EMS).

The EMS focuses on managing and improving environmental performance. Through the system, the certified organisation pays systematic attention to the environment in its business operations. Key elements are compliance with laws and regulations and controlling environmental risks. Further, Alphabet aims for continuous improvement of its environmental performance.
