Alphabet delivers 2.000th vehicle
Leudelange, 4 November 2014
Last Friday saw Alphabet Luxembourg delivering vehicle no. 2,000 - a Lancia Ypsilon - to the Hein Group Soparfi. In the presence of Alphabet Luxembourg Country Manager Jean-Paul Biordi, Mrs Stéphanie Hein, member of the Board and company fleet manager, and Hein Group's Communication Manager Marion Arbrun, the keys were handed over at garage Chlecq, the Lancia-Fiat dealership in Esch-sur-Alzette.
In just 5 years time, Alphabet Luxembourg has managed to double the size of its fleet. As such, this delivery also serves as a perfect illustration of Alphabet's expansion plans in Europe.
Alphabet attributes this growth first and foremost to the confidence placed in the company by its customers. Jean-Paul Biordi went on record as saying: "Alphabet makes the difference for businesses in Luxembourg courtesy of our role as experts, and our personal approach."
Alphabet is fully intent on assuming its role as a pioneer and expert in the area of sustainable mobility. In evidence of these ambitions, Alphabet launched the AlphaElectric product in Luxembourg just this September whilst also getting a carbon dioxide emission compensation scheme under way at the start of September.
Hein Soparfi is a Luxembourg Group that delivers a wide range of care services for the elderly, including the management of retirement homes, residential service homes for senior citizens, a home care and assistance network delivering home help services for children caring for their elderly family members, transport of disabled people and the running of restaurants. Of the 220 members of staff working for the Group, 130 deliver care and personal assistance services. The deal clincher that persuaded the company to decide on Alphabet was the latter's willingness to listen, its service-minded mindset and the sound advice dispensed regarding its fleet management. Moreover, the decision to go for operational leasing was further supported by the considerable convenience in terms of logistics and finance offered by Alphabet. "Our staff are constantly out on the road, with each vehicle travelling an average 35,000 km a year. It goes without saying that when it comes to servicing, claims management, not to mention billing, we are relying on a partner that we can trust", Stéphanie Hein goes on to stress.
