Head of Marketing & Business Development for Alphabet (GB) Limited, Agata Stachaszewska – who joined the UK business earlier this year – announces the launch of new ‘Business Briefings’ on the key subjects that matter for fleet decision makers.

Stachaszewska joined Alphabet (GB) Limited from the company’s Munich-based headquarters, Alphabet International, where she held the position of Manager for Business Strategy & Market Intelligence, responsible for strategy, research and customer centricity. She began her career with ING Group in 2006, undertaking roles in their Polish and Korean operations. In 2011 Stachaszewska became Marketing & Business Development Director for Alphabet Poland, introducing the brand to the Polish market for the first time.

Stachaszewska commented: “We’re really excited about the reaction to our new Alphabet ‘Business Briefings’ as they address the key topics which are ‘front of mind’ for small to medium sized fleets. In my previous role in Munich, I led an international research project which looked at the key areas of interest for decision makers and influencers across Europe and in each Alphabet market.

These ‘Business Briefings’ were developed specifically in response to the feedback we received from UK-based fleets as part of this research project. Our new briefings have been designed to give fleet decision makers and influencers some answers to the big questions keeping them awake at night. Firstly ‘how can I ensure my vehicle fleet is helping, rather than hindering, the bottom line of my business?’ Secondly, ‘what do I need to know about changing emissions regulations and tax legislation – and what can I do about it?’ Third and finally ‘how do I know if what I’m doing is enough in terms of my duty of care responsibilities – and how can I keep up to date?’ These new Business Briefings are available via the Alphabet website and are being shared with our existing customers over the next few weeks.

In terms of my role, I’m inspired by the scope of it and the opportunity that Alphabet has in the UK market. The UK is one of the largest and most sophisticated markets of the 22 that Alphabet operate in worldwide and I’m thoroughly enjoying moving our marketing and business development activities forward in this well-established market.

These new Business Briefings reflect our re-focus on the appeal of Alphabet’s innovative, progressive and customer-centric proposition to the SME and Commercial Vehicle sectors. Already this year we have delivered further innovation with the expansion of AlphaCity into the multimake vehicle arena, bringing increased vehicle choice for CarSharing customers and opening up our sharing platform to Light Commercial Vehicles for the first time. At the same time we’ve also re-engineered our AlphaCity booking platform and incorporated it into our AlphaGuide app.

It’s been a busy few months as earlier this year we relaunched the Alphabet UK website, launched a new SME area of the website, as well as received prestigious industry recognition for our approach and the fantastic things we’re delivering in partnership with our customers. Our ambition is not to stand still but continue to innovate for the benefit of our customers, harness the potential of technology allied with our knowledge and mobility expertise and so continue our journey of digital transformation.”
