UK Government to host free automotive technology commercialisation

Automotive technology companies looking to support the government’s road to zero strategy through the development and manufacture of low carbon vehicle technology will have the opportunity to receive new levels of advice, insight and support from leading industry experts at LCV2019.

Hosted on the UK Government Pavilion, managed by the Advanced Propulsion Centre (APC), the new ‘Meet the Experts’ sessions will give technology developers the opportunity to pre-book one-to-one meetings with industry experts who will be able to advise on a wide range of topics such as policy, funding applications, routes to market, exporting and many other issues that will aid the commercialisation of their technology.

“We’re delighted to introduce ‘Meet the Experts’ to this year’s Low Carbon Vehicle Show,” comments Chris Harris, Business Development Lead, Advanced Propulsion Centre. “By pre-booking an appointment, technology developers will have a guaranteed opportunity to sit down and discuss their specific challenge with one of our experienced experts. By providing this unique level of access and dedicated attention, we’ll continue to help strengthen the UK’s leading position in clean transport and mobility solutions.”

The ‘Meet the Expert’ one-to-ones will run throughout both days of the LCV show (4th and 5th September) and should be pre-booked in advance. Interested parties will have access to representatives from the APC, Centre for Connected & Autonomous Vehicles (CCAV), Department for International Trade (DIT), Innovate UK, Low Carbon Vehicle Partnership (LowCVP) and the Office for Low Emission Vehicles (OLEV), ensuring a comprehensive panel of experts covering a multitude of areas is available.
