Alphabet set to ignite EV adoption with the launch of AlphaElectric
Alphabet, the UK’s leading business mobility specialist, has unveiled plans to launch AlphaElectric, a completely new solution designed to help businesses assess the suitability of electric vehicles (EVs) for their fleets, support the introduction of EVs into a fleet and provide a full in-life support service. One of the largest fleet companies in the UK, managing more than 115,000 vehicles, Alphabet’s commitment to EVs signals a serious intent by the company to actively support the low carbon agenda as part of an overall business mobility strategy.
AlphaElectric will be spear headed by Alphabet’s highly experienced eMobility team, including Nigel Trotman and Kit Wisdom, and comprises of a 360 degree approach. The three key elements include: personalised EV consultancy, the provision of comprehensive and complete charging solutions and flexible mobility packages to ensure seamless alternative transport is available where EVs are not appropriate.
Alphabet believes its new EV solution is an industry first, providing businesses of all sizes (as well as public sector organisations), with a genuinely independent, end-to-end consultancy service. The AlphaElectric solution, which covers all makes and marques of plug-in vehicle, will be officially launched in the UK in September 2013. AlphaElectric will be available in all Alphabet’s European markets by the start of 2014.
