Welcome to Alphabet Motion

Alphabet Motion is an online platform that will enable you to browse for your new vehicle at your leisure. Deals will be based on a Credit Sale Agreement with flexible contract terms to fit your unique requirements, with the option to choose from a wide range of models from the following manufacturers: BMW, MINI, Kia, Citroen, DS Automobiles, Fiat, Hyundai, MG Motor UK, Peugeot or Vauxhall.

Alphabet Motion

The programme allows for a vehicle to be financed by taking out a Credit Sale Agreement. Agreements can be arranged between a 24 and 48 month period. At the end of the agreement you have the option to return the vehicle and walk away, return the car and take a new one or pay the final instalment and keep the car.

This scheme is available to McLaren employees only and cannot be offered to family members.

  • Fixed monthly payments for the Agreement period, which include: Optional routine servicing, repairs, replacement tyres, batteries and exhausts where arising from normal usage of the car (optional), UK and European roadside assistance, Road Fund Licence for the Agreement period and fixed depreciation and no further risk if you sell the car back at the end of the Agreement – subject to it meeting Alphabet’s terms and conditions.

  • Fill in your Company Name and Email Address
  • If Alphabet Motion doesn’t recognise your details, a button will appear for you to register your account for the first time
  • Fill in the relevant information and click to Submit
  • You’ll receive an email to verify your account as soon as your registration has been approved by Alphabet, then you’re ready to go!

If you already have an Alphabet Motion account:

  • Simply enter the company that you work for. Check your spelling here, it’s really important!
  • Add the email address and password you used when registering your profile
  • Click Login to unlock a range of attractive offers

As your vehicle is registered in your name care of Alphabet (GB) Ltd, Alphabet receive all parking fines and road traffic offences.  At the time we receive them, we will issue an advanced notification to ensure you are aware how this will be dealt with and the charges involved.

For Fixed Penalty Notices, we automatically pay and re-charge these along with an associated admin fee.

For private parking fines and road traffic offences (speeding) we make representation to the Issuing Authority, providing them with details of the driver so they can reissue the documentation. There is an associated administration fee which will be re-charged directly to you.  

It is your responsibility to ensure that your car is fully comprehensively insured for the duration of the Agreement. Please note that if your car is required for business use, you will need to ensure that the appropriate insurance cover is included.

Lead times on average are between 6 and 9 months, although these vary depending on model and specification.

Once your vehicle is ordered we will be able to give you a clearer indication of your vehicle lead time.

Maintenance service and repairs includes normal wear and tear of exhausts, replacement batteries, tyres, puncture repair and the replacement of tyres due to irreparable punctures within a fair play tyre policy. 

It will be your responsibility to book the car in for all servicing, maintenance and repairs, and to have the service record book duly stamped after each service. 

If Alphabet maintenance is included, you must arrange for any work to be undertaken at an Alphabet approved service centre.

Three to six months before the end of the Agreement, Alphabet will send you detailed information about how to order your next car. 

At the end of the Agreement, you will have two options:

1) Pay the final instalment and any additional mileage charges and keep the car.

2) Subject to your compliance with the AlphaDrive Agreement and meeting the required return standards, you can sell the car to Alphabet for a sum equivalent to the final instalment.

In both cases, providing you have covered no more than the total agreed mileage, you will have nothing further to pay. 

Condition of the car

Fair wear and tear reflecting the period of use is acceptable. However, you must have any damage over and above this rectified at your expense by an authorised dealer of the manufacturer before your car is returned. 

If such repairs have not been carried out, or have been completed to an unsatisfactory standard, the cost of rectification will be notified and invoiced to you.
