SD Worx and Alphabet hand over 19 Peugeot benefit cars
Antwerp, 6 October 2015 – As part of the Flex Income Plan, SD Worx, in association with leasing partner Alphabet, consigned the 19 Peugeot benefit cars in Wilrijk today. Flexible remuneration is a key factor to an increasing number of employees in deciding whether or not to accept a particular job offer. Which is why SD Worx launched the Flex Income Plan as early as 2007, as a system to put together pay packages that are tailored to individual employees' needs and wishes. Of the available budget which the employee can freely spend under the Flex Income Plan, 59% goes to a company car, which makes it the most popular choice by far.
Research conducted by SD Worx (2014) shows that 62.6% of Belgian employees like to pick and mix their own pay package, whereas a mere 8.6% of Belgian employers are currently providing this opportunity. In catering for this demand, SD Worx is offering its customers the Flex Income Plan. This includes guidance and advice in putting together and implementing the plan, along with the relevant software to automate the whole procedure as well as follow-up throughout the project in its whole.
Needless to say SD Worx is also offering the Flex Income Plan to its own employees. The hand-over of the Peugeot benefit cars fits in with these developments.
SD Worx CEO Steven Van Hoorebeke: “An increasing numbers of employees are keen to put together their own pay package to some degree, according to their own needs and requirements. Some people attach importance to a company car. The Flex Income Plan allows them to make that choice. Other people prefer a smaller car, or simply decide to dispense their company car altogether, going for public transport or an electric bike instead, which they fund by using the budget made available. With the Flex Income Plan, we are providing employees and employers with a simple tool that is easy to use. Obviously we also keep a close eye on the legal implications to make sure we are wholly compliant with the law.”
SD Worx's dedicated leasing partner Alphabet offers sustainable and customized mobility solutions. In Peugeot, SD Worx found the right partner to roll out the project, in association with Alphabet. “We are proud to have been picked by SD Worx for this project”, Alphabet Belgium Key Accountmanager Liesbeth van Dyck goes on to add. “From the early days when we first started working together, SD Worx has consistently shown itself to be a valuable partner that never ceases to reflect on flexible mobility for employees. The Flex Income Plan is an excellent example.”
“From the very first talks we were on the same page”, Peugeot Belux Key Account Manager Gerd De Ridder goes on to say. “We share the same vision, i.e. maximum return and efficiency with low carbon dioxide- emission levels and without sacrificing on driving pleasure.” The fact that SD Worx went with the Pure Tech engines on the 208 and 2008 models has made Peugeot particularly happy. In the quest for lower consumption and emission levels, the 3 Cylinder Pure Tech engine is fast gaining ground across the Peugeot range.
“The support of Johan Beirens, contact person Peugeot Professional with the Key dealer in Wilrijk, gives the employees of SD Worx a direct point of contact. The collaboration with Alphabet is running like clockwork too”, Gerd De Ridder adds.
“As such, the delivery of these benefit cars firms up the business relationship of many years between SD Worx, Peugeot Antwerp and Alphabet.”
