AARTSELAAR, 4 March 2015 - Jorssen Carrosserie received today the Belgian individual certificate for Sustainable Repair. This certificate, which recognises the efforts made by Jorssen Carrosserie in the field of sustainability, was presented by Jan van Roon, CEO of Alphabet Belgium.

The Sustainable Repair Foundation is a non-profit organisation which aims to recognise vehicle companies (such as tyre fitters, garages, and windscreen repairers) which can be passed as environment-friendly after an objective assessment. The Belgian College of Specialists therefore certifies companies which not only offer good service and professional repairs, but also do so sustainably. Various parties from the automotive industry are represented in this body, such as leasing companies, insurers and fleet owners.

Jorssen Carrosserie, which is part of the BMW Jorssen concession, has been assessed and approved on various criteria which prove that they repair and maintain vehicles ecologically and sustainably. These ecological measures include the re-use of parts, the use of green alternatives and correct waste management. The certificate was presented on behalf of the Belgian College of Specialists by Jan van Roon, CEO of Alphabet Belgium.

Jan van Roon said, "Because Alphabet makes sustainability one of its priorities, we have contributed to the development of this sustainability label and we have a seat in the College of Specialists. As one of the top three leasing companies in Belgium, Alphabet also takes its responsibility for the environment seriously. Therefore, sustainability is an integral part of our operation, ranging from energy-saving measures within our own organisation to the innovative mobility solutions that we offer our clients. We also expect the partners with whom we co-operate to operate ecologically.”
