Christel Reynaerts new CEO Alphabet Belgium & Luxembourg
Jan van Roon, who has been Managing Director for Alphabet Belgium and Luxembourg since May 2009, is set to hand over the reins to Christel Reynaerts on the 1st of June 2015. Since 1979, Jan assumed various positions in Sales, Marketing and General Management in The Netherlands, Belgium and Europe.
A man with an inspiring leadership style, Jan brought the acquisition of ING Car Lease by BMW Group for Belgium and Luxembourg to fruition in 2011. Under his management, Alphabet drove up the company's fleet size by 67% in Belgium and 57% in Luxembourg.

Since January 2012, Christel has been serving as Head of International Corporate Sales at BMW Group. Since she joined BMW Group in 2005, she consecutively held the posts of Head of International Sales at Alphabet International (2005-2008) and Head of Commercial Finance at BMW Financial Services (2008-2012).
Christel is originally a qualified interpreter who speaks 5 languages. Her experience in developing and implementing strategies in an international customer-led environment, combined with her pragmatic and consultative style, make her ideally suited to lead the onward growth of Alphabet Belgium and Luxembourg.
