Bridgestone adopts eMobility with AlphaElectric
AARTSELAAR, Belgium, 12 May 2014 - Bridgestone Europe has added revolutionary all-electric BMW i3 vehicles to its fleet, clearly underlining the company's faith in this concept of sustainable mobility.
Vehicle charging points at Bridgestone's European headquarters near Brussels were officially made operational on 9th May with AlphaElectric, a comprehensive electric-vehicle fleet solution from Alphabet.
"Bridgestone and Alphabet share the same vision of sustainable mobility and this logically brought both companies together to support the deployment of the all-electric BMW i3" says Franco Annunziato, CEO and President, Bridgestone Europe.
Bridgestone's choice of the BMW i3 is guided by the company's commitment to a sustainable society, established in a long-term environmental policy focused on ecological conservation, resource conservation and reduction of CO2 emissions.
