Alphabet introduces new AlphaGuide app
Aartselaar, 23 February 2016 - Alphabet is launching AlphaGuide, an innovative application that serves as the ideal mobility guide for all mobility users on the road.
The launch of AlphaGuide makes it clear that Alphabet not only wants to offer the best support possible offline, but online as well. The app offers numerous convenient functionalities. In case of emergency, Alphabet drivers on the road can instantly find the number to call in the event of a breakdown. Additionally, Alphabet can easily be notified of damage via the app. All points of interest, such as fuel stations, car dealers and body repairs, are displayed interactively on the map.
Besides the classic functionalities, the application also creates a link to the user’s mobile calendar. ‘As an innovative provider of mobility products, we have noticed that people are spending increasingly more time in transit’, affirms Marc Vandenbergh, Director of Sales & Marketing at Alphabet Belgium. ‘There can be no better mobility guide than an app that reminds you to leave for your next appointment on time, shows you how to get there and displays convenient places along your route.’
Thanks to a link to their calendar, users will receive a notification telling them when it is time to leave their current location for their next appointment. The app also displays the most efficient route. Also, when Alphabet drivers enter their cars into the app, they will be able to consult their contract details at a single glance.
And there's more. Several updates are already scheduled for 2016, and various new functionalities are currently being developed. ‘Being a provider of mobility services, we greatly value the insight we have obtained into the needs of the current generation of mobility users’, explains Ann Massart, Manager of Marketing & Business Development at Alphabet Belgium. ‘We use this knowledge to continuously improve the app.’
