It’s easy to figure out why we should always be energy efficient with cars: in 2000 the world had a population of 6.1 billion people. There were 700 million vehicles worldwide. For 2050 the UN is forecasting 9.2 billion people. And the World Business Council for Sustainable Development expects 2 billion vehicles.

However, there are a lot of clever and responsible people who spend each day developing ecologically optimised vehicles. Yet the new environmentally friendly technologies in cars can only be fully efficient if they are fully functional. That’s why a regular service and potential replacements – for example, of the air filter – are recommended.
