International fleet service provider Alphabet realises expansion plans and opens new office in Mexico. High potential for growth expected.

MUNICH/MEXICO CITY 18 APRIL 2007– Alphabet, international supplier of fleet services, announced today the commencement of its operations in the Mexican Market. Mexico is the first country in America where Alphabet is initiating operations and the expectation of growth in the fleet industry is strong. With the new operation, Alphabet now offers premium fleet man-agement services to Mexican fleet operators, targeting mid-size and large national and international corporations as well as Alphabet’s existing international customers.

Karl-Heinz Kral, Head of Alphabet, said: “The Mexican market is a growing and stable economy. It has a high potential for growth in the fleet industry and is a strategic step for us into the Americas. The launch of Alphabet Mexico demonstrates our commitment to provide first-class service internationally to our customers and partners. “

The new company structure will take advantage of synergies between Alphabet and BMW Fi-nancial Services. Customers benefit as fleet and finance experts from both teams work together to provide innovative fleet solutions in Mexico. In addition to 60 existing staff, Alphabet will contribute to the Mexican economy by creating additional direct jobs for the sales force and customer service areas, as well as indirect jobs through its suppliers. The initial investment of the company also will include new systems for managing customer’s fleets.
