International fleet service provider, Alphabet looks back on a record breaking 2006, which saw the company grow by 30% to a total of 179,884 units under management. The company also reveals expansion plans for new markets as well as improved customer service offerings.

MUNICH, 16 MARCH 2007 - Alphabet, the multimake fleet service provider, today announced that is has experienced above average growth of 30% over the last year. Alphabet’s Total Units under Management grew continuously throughout 2006 to a year-end total of 179,884 vehicles.

In December, the company agreed to take-over LHS Leasing- und Handelsgesellschaft mbH and DSL Fleetservices GmbH. This transfer, yet to be approved by EU regulators, will make Alphabet a Top 3 German and a Top 10 European fleet service provider, with over 230,000 units under management.

Alphabet’s growth is set to continue in 2007 with expansion into two new markets: Mexico and Denmark. Mexico will mark Alphabet’s first steps in the Americas. The company is also set to continue its focus on sustainable fleet management (including fuel management, driver man-agement, and cost management) to help customers operate fleets that improve total costs, improve productivity, attract employees, and generate a positive corporate image.
