150,000th Car under Management

Alphabet reaches milestone with delivery of 150,000th car under management. Secures its position as one of the fastest growing international fleet management companies. Follows impressive growth and increased market share.

Alphabet delivered its 150,000th car under management to its customer KPMG Meijburg & Co. b.v. on 13 June, 2006. The car was delivered to Rick Franke, a Tax Lawyer for KPMG Meijburg & Co., at the BMW dealership in Hoorn, Netherlands. Anne Brons, Commercial Director of Alphabet Netherlands and Christel Reynaerts, General Manager of Alphabet International Sales & Key Account Management personally handed over the keys to the car.

This comes after a successful year in 2005 that saw Alphabet experience 39.8% growth. Karl-Heinz Kral, Head of Alphabet, said: “This delivery is further testament to the significant growth we have experienced recently and means that more companies are benefiting from our premium service quality and multi-make offering. We are a company that customers, such as KPMG, want to do business with. The fact that we delivered the car in the Netherlands, one of our key markets, makes this milestone particularly special. We will continue to focus on our customers and develop innovative and exciting product offerings,” he concluded.

Wim Mol, Fleet Manager for KPMG Meijburg & Co., said: “Alphabet is a truly international partner for us when it comes to fleet management. They have effectively managed our international fleet from the outset, and we are very pleased to celebrate this success with them. Alphabet currently manages over 500 vehicles for us in seven countries and the service is excellent on both the international and country-wide levels.
